The Canon PIXMA G1230 is the entry-level model among the manufacturer’s ink tank printers. The MegaTank printer with enormous range and versatile media handling for razor-sharp documents and vivid photos – at home and in the home office. Experiment with different media types and sizes, including magnetic photo paper, and sticky photo paper, or print your own banners up to 4 feet long. Likewise, this single printer cannot automatically print on both sides. The printer works reasonably clean, but very slowly. High print quality at high print speeds (9.1 ipm mono and 5 ipm colour) and pigment black for crisp black text and dye-based inks for vivid colour prints. up to 12,000 pages (approx. 26% more in eco mode) can be printed with 2 bottles of black ink and up to 7,700 pages with a color set. Thanks to the ink tanks, the printing costs are very low. Refill ink is cheap and one refill lasts for hundreds of pages. A user-replaceable maintenance cartridge ensures reliable performance every day. This minimizes downtime and reliably meets deadlines. This Canon PIXMA G1230 printer only offers the absolute basic functions and nothing else. The network function, which is now also common with cheap printers, is omitted here.
