You immediately notice that the Canon PIXMA G4600 MegaTank has large ink tanks. The tanks are transparent and visible on both sides of the front of the printer – black on the left and the colours cyan, magenta and yellow on the right side of the printer. The printing speed of only 5.5 colour pages per minute is comparatively slow. This printer scores points with borderless photo printing. This device is a CISS multifunction printer (with fax). You can print up to 6,000 pages with a full black ink tank. The amount of ink in the bottles is just right for the tanks. Inside, the printer looks like a chemistry experiment with large transverse tubes for ink. It takes the printer about five minutes to pump ink through the hoses so that it is ready for use the first time. Setup and printing are very easy with Canon’s excellent apps and programs. Thanks to a WLAN interface on Canon PIXMA G4600, you can also print wirelessly.
