The Canon PIXMA MX882 is a color inkjet printer with scan and fax functions. The paper is fed via a closed paper cassette with 150 sheets and via the paper feed on the back of the device, in which another 150 sheets can be accommodated. In addition to DIN A4 paper, A5 sheets, envelopes and photo paper in various sizes can also be processed. The printer is clearly the better in terms of print speed and resolution. The print speed is 12.5 ISO pages/minute in B/W and 9.3 ISO pages/minute in colour. All this with a resolution of up to 9600dpi x 2400dpi with a droplet size of approx. 1.0 picolitre. Of course, the big one also has a built-in scanner and a fax. Like all multifunction devices, this printer can also copy. The advantage here is the automatic document feeder with a duplex function, which processes up to 35 pages. The whole thing is operated via a 7.5 cm TFT color display. Canon PIXMA MX882 is connected via USB as well as via LAN or WLAN – it can therefore be used as a network printer for an entire department without any problems. You can print your photos directly from your smartphone via the app. You can print pictures from your smartphone using Canon’s iEPP application or directly from digital cameras using the PictBridge function via the USB port. Scanned documents can be saved directly to a USB medium.
