The Canon WG7240 is a high-speed, low-maintenance A3 multifunction printer for demanding SMBs. Print, copy, scan to A3 size and control via an intuitive 5-inch color touchscreen. The printer can print up to 80 pages per minute in A4 at 300 dpi and print, copy and scan in A3. Scan and digitize double-sided in a single pass. The device’s scanner is single-pass and scans both sides simultaneously at 65 images per minute. The design of the printhead system promotes smooth ink ejection by reducing airflow turbulence. Optical sensors built into the nozzles monitor ink ejection to ensure reliable print performance. A new low surface tension ink formulation allows the ink to be absorbed by the paper in a short time and reduces streaking and bleeding. The constant, slightly curved paper feed of MFPs helps reduce the frequency of jams by creating a straight paper path. Canon WG7240 supports a wide variety of media including envelopes, paper sizes from 4″ x 6″ up to 13″ x 19″, matte photographic paper, as well as a wide variety of paperweights. Fewer spare parts and smooth paper feeding allow for maximum uptime and lower maintenance costs. Even the ink cartridges and maintenance cartridges are easy to access through the front panel.
